What kind of mud is keel Jinsha?
Due to the hard texture of mud, Longgu Jinsha needs to be fired in a kiln with a temperature exceeding 1300 degrees Celsius. After firing, there will be some golden purple sand particles with the appearance of "Jinsha". Mud has the function of softening water quality, hence the name "Dragon Bone Sands".
What is purple sand?
The main raw materials used in purple sand pottery are purple mud, including purple mud, red mud and green mud. Purple mud is a kind of high-quality clay with purple color, fine and flexible texture, strong plasticity and good permeability. Similarly, there are red mud, black mud, white mud, Benshan green mud and dark green mud. These clays are buried deep under the rocks and mixed with mud, so they are called "rocks in rocks, mud in mud".
In addition, when they come out of the ore, they are rock blocks, which are weathered into bean-like particles in the field, then ground and stirred with water to form green mud blocks. After hammering for many times, the green mud block makes the mud compressed and sticky, and then it can be used to make blanks.
