Why are all the ancient buildings in China made of wood, while Europeans build houses with stones?

Which of our buildings has a construction period of one hundred years? The Yuanmingyuan and Summer Resort in Qing Dynasty took almost a century to complete. However, this refers to continuous expansion, expansion and merger. In the architectural history of China, there is no continuous construction site around a building in more than ten years.
