Xiangyang chuantian festival

Xiangyang Sky Crossing Festival originated in Song Dynasty. Zhuang Chuo said in "Chicken Ribs": "On the 21st day of the first month, the whole city of Xiangyang went boating from Wanshan, and the woman found a hole in the beach as a small white stone, and hung it first, thinking it was lucky." This cultural resource was once submerged by history, but it has been re-developed in recent years, which has gradually aroused the interest of Xiangyang people.

There are many kinds of piercing stones in the Hanjiang River, among which there are many perforations, such as white wax stone, yellow wax stone, flame stone and jasper. On the floodplain around Xiangfan, there are many small pieces of Bai La, that is, "Little White Stone with holes to wear". Pyrophyllite's mother rushed down from Shennongjia. In the process of volcanic eruption and magma condensation, these timely infiltrated impurities, some of which also contained crystals. Due to the different hardness of the components in the mixed stones, after hundreds of millions of years of river friction, the hard ones left the soft ones and disappeared, forming their strange shapes today.
