How are Chinese-foreign relations classified?

The relations between China and countries that have established diplomatic relations can be divided into simple relations of establishing diplomatic relations, good-neighborly relations, partnership and traditional relations of friendship and cooperation. Among them, partnership can be subdivided into: partners, constructive partners, comprehensive partners, strategic partners, strategic partners, comprehensive strategic partners, etc.

Partnership means that China and Mongolia are not antagonistic, abide by the principle of "seeking common ground while reserving differences", and are not targeted at third countries. And Mongolia are good-neighborly and trusting partnerships. China has strategic partnerships with Germany, Brazil and other countries. Countries that have established strategic partnerships with China include Pakistan, India and South Korea, while China and Russia are strategic partnerships. At present, countries that have established traditional friendly and cooperative relations with China include North Korea and other countries. In recent years, Sino-Vietnamese relations have been upgraded from good-neighborliness and all-round cooperation to comprehensive strategic partnership. From June 5, 2009 to 10, China and the United States confirmed that they would take concrete actions and steadily establish a partnership to meet the challenge of * * *. China and Japan have a "strategic and mutually beneficial relationship". Britain, France and other countries have established a comprehensive strategic partnership with China. In addition, China and Europe have established a comprehensive strategic partnership.

There is no provision in international law to define the relationship between the two countries. China understands "strategic partner" as a long-term, comprehensive and stable cooperative relationship. Modifiers such as "comprehensive" and "cooperation" are not much different in content.
