The style of 22 Italian designers

"If other countries have design theory, Italian has design philosophy, or design ideology." umberto eco.

Italian design is different from American design and Nordic design. In every design, Italian designers not only pay attention to follow the trend, pay attention to national characteristics, but also emphasize the development of individual talents. Their design is a synthesis of traditional crafts, modern thinking, personal talent, natural materials, modern crafts, new materials and so on.

Compared with designers from other countries, Italian designers are more inclined to manage modern design as an art and culture. Italian designers constantly bring forth the old and bring forth the new, and began to lead the new trend of world design in the 1960s. From radical design and anti-design in 1960s to post-modern design movement in 1980s, Italian designers have been at the forefront of world design, and their creativity in the design field dazzled designers from other countries.

Here are 22 Italian designers for you. I hope you can know more about Italian design style.

Just like the production of local glass workshops, it lies in research and development, intuition and constant trial and error. The idea and process of research also occupy a very important proportion in Luca Ni Cetto's design.
