Brief introduction to the contents of Chinese traditional village directory

According to the person in charge of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, in order to promote the protection and development of traditional villages, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Finance organized the first national survey of traditional villages in 20 12. On the basis of initial evaluation and recommendation from various places, the first batch of ***646 villages with important protection value were identified and publicized by the Committee of Experts on the Protection and Development of Traditional Villages.

At the same time, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Finance issued the Guiding Opinions on Strengthening the Protection and Development of Traditional Villages.

The opinion requires all localities to conduct supplementary surveys on registered traditional villages, improve the information files of villages, and establish a list of local traditional villages according to the "Evaluation and Identification Index System of Traditional Villages (Trial)". Traditional villages at all levels must formulate protection and development plans, and determine the protection objects and protection measures.

On August 6th, 20 13, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development announced the second batch of traditional villages in China, including Malan Village, Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District, Beijing, Changyucheng Village, Liucun Town, Changping District, Beijing, Jijiaying Town, Xinchengzi Town, Miyun County and other 9 15 villages.
