The opinion requires all localities to conduct supplementary surveys on registered traditional villages, improve the information files of villages, and establish a list of local traditional villages according to the "Evaluation and Identification Index System of Traditional Villages (Trial)". Traditional villages at all levels must formulate protection and development plans, and determine the protection objects and protection measures.
On August 6th, 20 13, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development announced the second batch of traditional villages in China, including Malan Village, Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District, Beijing, Changyucheng Village, Liucun Town, Changping District, Beijing, Jijiaying Town, Xinchengzi Town, Miyun County and other 9 15 villages.
