The Nine Vermin: Originally known as the "Ghost Car", the Nine Vermin had ten necks and nine heads, the tenth of which was said to have been shot off by a hunter under the orders of Zhou Gongdan. It is said that Poor Ki often flies to the scene of a fight and bites off the nose of the one who has the right to fight; if someone commits an evil act, Poor Ki will capture a wild beast and give it to him, and encourage him to do more bad things. The ancients also called the kind of person who did not value his heart and was far from a gentleman and close to a villain as Poor Qi.

However, there is also a beneficial side to the poor. In a ritual called "Nuo" exorcism, there are twelve kinds of devouring evil spirits beasts, known as the twelve gods or twelve beasts, the poor is one of them.

False Consumption: False Consumption is an evil spirit that brings misfortune to people. Legend has it that False Consumption wears a red robe, has a bull's nose, has one foot on the ground with a shoe on it and the other hanging from his waist, and has an iron fan stuck in his waist. It is said that Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Xuanzong once saw in a dream a small ghost stole his own jade flute and Yang Guifei's incense pouch, Emperor Xuanzong called the small ghost, the ghost claimed to be called "virtual consume", like to steal other people's belongings, but also to steal away other people's joy, so that he became melancholy. Xuanzong was furious and immediately summoned someone, so a big ghost appeared and tore the ghost in half and ate it.

The great ghost refers to Zhong Kui.

Wutong Shen: Five lecherous devils in Chinese legend are said to haunt the south, and there was once a saying that "the fox in the north and the Wutong in the south", and that the Wutong Shen often went to people's homes to look for beautiful women.
