How to treat pulmonary nodules?

According to the size of pulmonary nodules and the difference between benign and malignant, the treatment methods are as follows:

1, benign nodules, benign nodules are common in infections or benign tumors. If the nodules caused by infection, such as tuberculosis and fungi, need treatment, anti-tuberculosis treatment or antifungal treatment can be given. If it is a nodule caused by a benign tumor, no treatment is needed, and regular observation is enough.

2. For highly suspected malignant nodules, the following treatment methods are needed. For nodules larger than 8mm, active measures should be taken for risk assessment, such as three-dimensional lung reconstruction or TBLB biopsy under bronchoscope. If it is a highly suspected malignant nodule, early surgical treatment can be considered. For 6-8mm nodules, follow-up should be active, and lung CT should be reviewed every three months to six months. For nodules less than 6mm, CT follow-up should be selected according to the situation.

3. Non-solid nodules are often precancerous lesions or cancerous lesions, so the follow-up time should be extended and the corresponding treatment measures should be selected according to the malignant risk.
