Minority wine myths and legends can be roughly divided into two categories, namely, wine myths and legends and wine song myths and legends, in which the wine myths and legends directly elaborate the origin of wine, while the wine song myths and legends illustrate the origin of the wine song.

Accidental discovery said

There is a legend circulating among the Kirghiz: a long time ago, there was a small tribe that was migrating, and after a day's running around, they came to a mountain pass in the evening, and stayed in the meadow. Drunk and hungry, the people scrambled to take large pieces of meat from their horses and horse milk from their sheepskin bags to eat. When one of them opened his sheepskin pouch, which contained half a bag of horse's milk, a fresh aroma quickly spread out. He called his partners in amazement, and poured the horse's milk into a few wooden bowls, and everyone carefully tried to taste it, only to find it sweet and refreshing, so they drank it in large mouthfuls. After drinking it, people felt all the fatigue and sleepiness disappeared. This is horse milk wine. They consciously to observe and explore the formation process of horse milk wine, and later found that the horse's milk into the wine of the sheepskin bag are hanging in the stirrups near the horse, in the horse rush, the horseback rider's footsteps keep kicking and hitting in the sheepskin bag, so that the bag of horse milk into milk wine. To this end, they made an experiment, put a parchment bag with fresh horse milk on the grass, several people take turns to use their feet for a while every day. A few days later, the sheepskin bag was opened and the horse milk inside turned into horse milk wine. In this way, the method of making horse milk wine soon spread throughout the entire Kyrgyz steppe.

In Yi legends, people learned of the existence of wine as a magical drink through the fermentation and intoxication of wild grapes that the poor people honored the mountain gods with. The water wine of the Wa people was discovered by people after the natural fermentation of the cold rice wrapped in banana leaves and hung on the branches of the trees in the ground by chance by women who went out to work. The two legends are ****similar in that the wine was discovered by people by chance. This shows that the ethnic minorities and the Han Chinese have the **** same understanding of the journey of wine into human life.

The gods and devils said that the minority wine myths have magical imagination and fascinating colors. The Nu people believe that wine is a wonderful drink given by the gods, and the immortals give the Nu people three kinds of food: "Frustration" (vinegar wine), "Frustration" (soju), "Frustration" (Baogu flower). The three foodstuffs include two of them. Two of the three foods are wine. The Pumi's Crispy Lima wine was stolen from the demons at the risk of his life by the ancestor Shizhen He Dazu, who was born in a meat bag. The Yao epic of creation, Miluo Tuo, says that Miluo Tuo, the originator of mankind, was a half-human, half-god monster, and that after she created all things in the world, she began to create man, "She took rice to create man, but turned it into wine." In the Lahu creation myth, the earliest wine is in the hands of the heavenly goddess ?sha, and the emergence of all things on earth is inextricably linked with wine. In the eyes of the Lahu ancestors, all things in nature harbor a fascinating aroma of wine, and all are pregnant with the intoxicating fragrance of wine.

The wine myths and legends of ethnic minorities are an important part of ethnic minority wine culture. It is characterized by the following: firstly, it expresses heartfelt praise for wine; secondly, it clearly points out the essence of the origin of wine, which has existed in nature since the beginning of human beings, and that human beings have not invented wine, but only discovered it by chance. The wine that existed before the "man and the ape greeted each other" was a kind of wine formed in a purely natural state, which existed objectively before it was discovered and utilized by human beings. In this sense, the earliest wine was a natural wine without any cultural significance. However, it was this drink that initially contained only the spirit of heaven and earth, all brewing thousands of years of unending, magnificent and fascinating wine culture, in which the wine myths and legends are an important component of the minority wine culture.

In the minority wine myths and legends, wine is given by the gods in the sky, which is the same as the "wine star in the sky, the wine is made" in the Han culture; the ancestors of human beings risked their lives from the mouth of the demon set out to make wine, reflecting the difficult course of the ethnic minorities to fight with the sinister natural environment; the gods initially made rice, and then used it to make the wine. The gods first made rice and then made people from it, and before people were made, they already made wine (Yao), which is a review of the history of the people who took the rice culture as the background for their survival and development; the ancestors of human beings already knew that the wine-making plants made from the milk of their parents grew in the lofty mountains and steep ridges (Jingpo); and even all the things in the world had their lively spirit and attractive fragrance and sweetness because of the wine sprinkled by the god of the heavens (Lahu). Through the aura of primitive culture, we can feel the heartfelt joy of the forefathers who stepped into the early stage of human civilization for the discovery of wine.

The Goddess Peak (Tibetan legend) Everyone knows that the highest mountain in the world is Mount Everest in the Himalayas. But do you know? A long, long time ago, there is a vast sea, year-round spring, is a rich and beautiful paradise. Suddenly, one day, a dragon with five heads, sharp teeth and bloodshot eyes emerged from the black clouds. The animals in the forest along the shore fled in panic. The dragon swooped down, flicked its tail angrily, and set off a huge wave that ransacked the forest. But the five-headed dragon did not rest; wherever the animals fled, it brought the great waters with it. Within a few days, the beautiful paradise was transformed into a sea of turbid waves. The animals all wanted to get rid of the dragon, but who could defeat it?

While this was happening, five magnificent clouds floated in from the sea, and the clouds fell down and turned into five beautiful goddesses ---- Xiangshou, Cuiyen, Zhenhui, Guanrong and Shi Ren. They were clad in snow-white fairy clothes, like five white snow lotuses.

The flying birds and beasts cried out in surprise, and with tears in their eyes bowed to them. "O Divine Mother, look, the five evil dragons have caused us so much suffering!" Xiangshou Divine Mother said, "Everyone, don't cry, we are here for this matter."

Originally, the five evil dragons escaped to earth because they had violated the rules of heaven. However, it did not repent and still continued to do evil. Now, it was lying down on the hillside and sleeping, making thunderous snoring sounds. The five goddesses pulled down the spiritual hairpins on their heads and transformed them into five shining swords, which angrily stabbed at the evil dragon. Where the swords fell, five heads fell to the ground.

The evil dragon would never sin again. The five fairies waved their brooms in their hands, and the waters receded, restoring the earth to its original beauty and abundance.

After they punished the evil dragon, they were transformed into five peaks, which remained in the Himalayas forever. These are Cui Yan Fairy Peak (also known as Mount Everest), Xiangshou Fairy Peak, Zhenhui Fairy Peak, Guan Yong Fairy Peak and Shiren Fairy Peak. Today, local Tibetans still call these five peaks "Goddess Peak" it.

Mythical Figures

Pangu (Legend has it that the first creature born in the entire universe died after the opening of the heavens) Nuwa (suddenly appeared after Pangu and created mankind) Among them there is also Hongjun (after Nuwa) *** Gong (crashed through the pillars of the sky for the Northwest Flood God, legend has it that he fought with Zhuanxu of the Yellow Emperor's tribe, and did not win the war, and angrily touched the mountain of Buzhou to tilt the heavens and the earth). Foreign Myths

The myths of the origin of the world are roughly divided into the following six: 1) Creation from nothing by the Creator 2) Creation from the corpses of primitive human beings (giants) 3) Born from a cosmic egg 4) Born of the original parents 5) Created naturally by the continuous evolution of the universe and 6) Created by some kind of animal brought ashore from the bottom of the sea 6) Created by the mud brought from the bottom of the sea In addition to the six, in fact, there are also some special exceptions. In addition to these six, there are actually some exceptions, such as composite origin myths that include more than two of the above.

Asia: ●Chinese mythology ●Korean mythology ●Vietnamese mythology ●Japanese mythology ●Indian mythology ●Thai mythology ●Cambodian mythology ●Ancient Babylonian mythology ●Mesopotamian mythology Europe: ●Northern European mythology ●Celtic mythology ●Roman mythology ●Greek mythology ●Slavic mythology Africa: ●Egyptian mythology ●African mythology Americas: ●Indian mythology ●Maya mythology ●Aztec mythology ●Inga mythology ●American mythology ●Myth of the Creator: The first type of creation is the creation of the world from nothing. Myths The first myth of a creator creating something out of nothing is nowhere better known than in the Old Testament. The world in the Old Testament begins with "a light", which is the classic "creation out of nothing".

The second type of creation is from the corpses of primitive human beings, most notably Ymir of the Edda. There is also the good god Marduk of the Mesopotamian Creation Myth (EnumaElish) who, after killing the evil god Tiamat, tore apart Tiamat's body and created it into heaven and earth. Another example is the Chinese myth of the creation of the heavens by Pangu, which is also a myth of the birth of a corpse.

The third type of birth from a cosmic egg is best exemplified by the Finnish Kalevala. In this myth, the heavens, the earth, the sun, etc. are born from the egg of a great eagle. In Greek mythology the myths of the origin of the world actually fall into this category. The most notable of these is Eros, the god of roots (Eros).

The fourth type is born from original parents. What are usually called 'original parents' are two great gods who first tied the knot and then created the world. In Japanese mythology, there are also two great gods, "Iyenaki no Fate" and "Iyenami no Fate". According to Japanese mythology, Japan was born after their marriage. In the myth of the Yoruba people of Africa, the two original gods, Olokun, the supreme god of the heavens, and Olorun, the god of the waters of the earth, were married and gave birth to two original gods, and then one of them created the whole world out of a handful of clay (this myth is a composite of the fourth and the sixth myths).

The fifth type arises naturally through evolution, as exemplified by the creation myth of the Korean Peninsula, although this myth has been little known. The sixth type, which arises from the mud of the sea floor, is particularly rich in the Indian myths of the Americas. In the Hurons' myth, a toad brings mud ashore from the sea, which is then transformed into the universe. In other tribal myths, there are stories of various birds and animals, such as Podiceps ruficollis or turtles, diving into the sea and bringing mud ashore. There are many different kinds of myths, divided into categories, so I'll add the three older ones!

Celtic mythology:

Celtic mythology was born during the period of Roman rule, so stories of heroes and resistance are the mainstay of Celtic mythology. It is unfortunate that Celtic myths were passed down by word of mouth for a long time, so many wonderful stories were lost. Whereas in the myths of other countries the king is the son of a god, in Celtic mythology the valiant king will become a god, and the legend of King Arthur is the most famous Celtic myth, and in addition to the story of the Knights of the Round Table, the story of the Holy Grail is derived around a cauldron of King Arthur. Movies with shades of this myth include "King Arthur's Sword," "The Legend of Avalon," "The Wolf of War," "Highlander" and "Beowulf Put and Grendel.

Greek mythology:

Greek mythology originated on the island of Crete in the Aegean Sea and consisted of early nature worship and slightly later idolatry. In addition to the twelve main gods of Mount Olympus, there were many other gods of low status in Greek mythology, and the ancient Greeks lived surrounded by the gods. The gods of Greek mythology were not perfect; they were sometimes jealous, violent and selfish, and incest was commonplace. Each generation of the main gods gained their thrones by betraying their fathers: Uranus was banished by Cronus and then by Zeus; Zeus, therefore, feared that his children would do the same to him, so he swallowed the pregnant Demesus, but in the end had to cut open his head to let Athena out. Movies that have shades of this myth include "Iason and the Golden Fleece" and "The Chronicles of Narnia".

Northern European Mythology:

Northern European mythology originated in Scandinavia, and out of a reflection of the harsh natural environment, the gods and heroes of Norse mythology had the strongest fighting spirit in the world. After their deaths, the berserkers and heroes would enter the temple of Valhalla, where they drank and drank during the day and practiced at night, preparing for the final battle with the demons. But the results of the struggle are desperate - they know they will die at the end of the world, including the Lord God, Odin, who will be devoured by the Fenrir Wolves, but no god or hero is willing to succumb to their fate and fight to the end, knowing that they will surely die. What is a little comforting is that the end of the world is not the end of everything. In Norse mythology, there is a tree of life, which will bring new life and civilization, and the great eagle that guards the world will continue to hover in the highest place. Movies that have shades of this myth include The Thirteenth Samurai, Son of a Disguised Geek, and Return of the Beast.
