How, Tang Hua?

The manufacturing method of Tang Hua comprises the following steps:

1, homemade syrup. Prepare one sugar and two waters, prepare a pot, put a little water and sugar in the pot and cook it on the fire. Then wait until the sugar solution boils, open the lid and let the steam out. Boil the sugar until the sugar solution bubbles. When the water in the sugar solution becomes less and less, the color of the sugar solution becomes pale yellow.

When the sugar bubbles get smaller and smaller, it means they are almost ripe. At this time, prepare a flat plate to pour out the sugar and collapse it on the flat plate. Chop it up after solidification and keep it in a plate or bottle. 2. Put the prepared candy into a flat pot or other small pot and heat it to make it become a soft liquid.

2. Take a little syrup with a spoon and start drawing on the slate. As long as it is smooth, you can draw with a non-stick pan at home. After painting, put bamboo chopsticks on it and you can pick up the painting. After a few minutes, when the painting hardens, you can use a long flat blade to separate the painting from the slate bit by bit.

Tang Hua is a traditional folk handicraft, with sugar as the material for modeling. The only tools used are a spoon and a shovel. Sugar is usually brown sugar, white sugar and a little maltose, which is cooked on the stove with warm fire. When it is ready to tie the thread, it can be used for casting.

When drawing a shape, the artist scoops up the melted sugar juice with a small spoon and throws it back and forth quickly on the slate to draw a shape. The skill of folk artists is the key to modeling. When the model is completed, Tang Hua will be scooped up by a small shovel and then glued with bamboo sticks.
