The waxbill is a traditional Chinese bird species and a state protected animal. There are also three kinds of waxbills: black-headed waxbill, black-tailed waxbill and tin-billed sparrow. There are also three kinds of waxbills, such as spotted-winged, white-winged and black-winged waxbills.
Breeding in the northeast of China and along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, it is distributed in most provinces and regions of China. The black-tailed waxbill is about 18 centimeters long, with a waxy yellow beak, black head and tail in males, black wings but with white spots at the end, gray feathers on the body, brown ribs, and a forked tail. The female has black wings, the rest mostly gray, and the tail feathers end in black.
No protection level, but wildlife is now protected.
