What kinds of computer viruses are there? In what form did various virus codes appear and how did they start?
Types of common viruses:
File virus. The code is hidden in the executable program file, starting from the beginning of the program.
Bootable virus This code is hidden in the main boot area of the system disk and is booted by the BIOS when the system starts.
Macro virus. The code is hidden in the automatic macro command of the Office document and started when the document is opened.
Network script virus. The code is hidden in the webpage, and the virus code is downloaded and started when browsing the webpage.
Worm virus. Viruses appear in the form of independent programs, infected by system security vulnerabilities, modifying registry startup items or tricking users into clicking Start.
Trojans. Strictly speaking, Trojans are not viruses.
