Brief introduction of Zhamu Year
Zhamunian has a long history, and there are different opinions about its origin. Some people think that Zamu Nian is a multi-stringed instrument introduced to Tibet from India in ancient times. According to the Tibetan ancient book Wang Tong Ji of Tibet, when Songzan Gambu held a banquet, artists played musical instruments, and it was judged that Zhamu Year was introduced to Tibet from the mainland in the Tang Dynasty, with a history of 1000 years. According to Tibetan ancient documents, a large number of Tibetan scholars believe that Zamu Nian originated in Tibet and is a local musical instrument created by Tibetans themselves, with a history of about 600 to 700 years ago. Professor Tian Liantao, a famous national musician in China and the Central Conservatory of Music, said in the article "Traditional Tibetan Musical Instruments": "The instruments such as the bronze harp, the year of Zamu and the clarinet should be created by Tibetans themselves."
