What are the charging methods of electric vehicles?

(1) normal charging. The charging current of conventional charging or slow charging is small, about 15A, and the charging time usually takes 5-8h. However, the charging time is too long to meet the emergency operation requirements of vehicles.

(2) fast charge. Fast charging, also known as emergency charging, is a short-term charging of electric vehicles within 20min minutes to 2 hours when they are parked. The construction cost of fast charging station is relatively high, and the charging current is relatively large. Generally, the charging current is 150~400A, which may have adverse effects on the public power grid.

(3) change the battery to charge. Battery replacement and charging refers to choosing a nearby battery replacement shop or a mobile battery replacement car to directly replace the battery pack of the electric vehicle and replace the exhausted battery with a fully charged battery when the battery of the electric vehicle is insufficient, which is conducive to improving the use efficiency of the vehicle and improving the convenience and rapidity of users. Moreover, the replaced storage battery can be charged in the trough period, which reduces the charging cost and improves the driving economy of the vehicle; On the other hand, it also solves the problems of charging time, battery quality, driving range and price.

(4) wireless charging. The principle of wireless charging mode of electric vehicle is just like the mobile phone used in the car. It can convert electric energy into a special laser or microwave beam that meets the requirements of current technical standards, and install a special antenna on the top of the car to receive it. Using wireless charging technology, electric vehicles driving on the road can quickly replenish electric energy through transmitters installed on telephone poles or other high-rise buildings, and the electricity fee is deducted from the prepaid card installed on the vehicle.
