How to write a survey on the purpose of Chinese New Year activities

Questionnaire survey report on the way people celebrate the New Year

I. Background of the survey

As we all know, the Spring Festival has always been one of the most important traditional festivals in China. Ancient people usually spend this festival with their families, even if they are far away from their hometowns, they will eagerly rush back home, and the whole family will be reunited to welcome the arrival of the new year. However, in recent years, due to various reasons such as work pressure, more and more people choose not to go home for New Year's Eve, which is somewhat contradictory to the traditional concepts of the country. Under this status quo, in order to understand the way modern people celebrate the New Year, I decided to do a questionnaire survey about the way people celebrate the New Year.

The purpose of the survey

This activity is mainly in the form of questionnaires, widely collected public opinions and suggestions, in order to survey as a carrier, to understand the public's true ideas. It is necessary to take the questionnaire as the entry point of the questionnaire survey on all aspects of life such as food, clothing, housing and transportation during the Chinese New Year. It is expected that through the relevant questions in the questionnaire, people will have a clearer understanding about the choice of New Year's Eve. It is hoped that more modern people, especially young people, will have a deeper understanding of Chinese New Year and will be able to inherit, carry forward and develop this traditional Chinese custom of Chinese New Year.

Three, the survey method

Questionnaire survey

Four, the survey process

This activity is mainly through the online questionnaire, QQ, microblogging, RenRen and other ways to send the questionnaire to some of my acquaintances, *** received 48 filled questionnaires, are valid questionnaires

Five, data summary and analysis

1. The age of is ____? [Single choice]

Analysis: through the image we can know that the object of this questionnaire are all young people under 29 years old after 80 and 90. This makes this questionnaire more targeted.

2. How long is your Spring Festival vacation? [Single choice]

Option Subtotal Proportion

A.0 to 3 days 0 0%

B.4 to 7 days 0 0%

C.8 to 15 days 1 2.08%

D.16 days and above 47 97.92%

The number of people who validly filled in this question 48

Analysis: Through the second question, it can be understood that for most of the people surveyed, the number of people who took the survey is not enough. that for most of the people surveyed, their vacation time for the Spring Festival is relatively abundant. 97.92% of them have more than 15 days of vacation.

3. In your perception, the concept of Chinese New Year spans ____ time? [Single choice]

Analysis: 68.75% chose C, indicating that most people's concept of the time of New Year's Eve is related to the atmosphere in which they live, and we all know that from New Year's Eve to the fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar calendar is the period of time during the holidays when the atmosphere of New Year's Eve is the strongest. However, 8.33% think that after New Year's Eve, the New Year is over, which indicates that there exists a small group of young people who do not attach importance to the New Year, or maybe the traditional Chinese custom of celebrating the New Year cannot make them feel happy and warm, or they cannot feel the atmosphere of the New Year in the first month ...... Regardless of exactly which one or more of these reasons, this will create some obstacles to the inheritance, promotion and development of the New Year's Eve custom.

4. In recent years, what ways do you usually choose to celebrate the New Year? [Single-choice question]

Analysis: 68.75% of the 48 people surveyed have always celebrated the New Year at home, and 29.17% have basically celebrated the New Year at home, indicating that celebrating the New Year at home is recognized in the consciousness of almost all the people surveyed, which shows that the inheritance of our traditional customs has not been interrupted and is going on very well.

5. How did you arrange your vacation for this year's Spring Festival? [Single choice]

Option Subtotal Proportion

A. Visiting friends and relatives door to door 18 37.5%

B. Relaxing at home, such as watching TV, newspapers, books, listening to music, etc. 29 60.42%

C. Choosing to go out for a trip 0 0%

D. Not having free time during the holiday because of work, etc. Arrangement or no vacation 1 2.08%

This question was validly filled in 48

Analysis: about 60% of people chose B, indicating that most young people in today's society choose to relax at home during the winter vacation, which, to a certain extent, reflects a trend in the society, where the level of people's spiritual life is getting higher and higher. However, we all know that New Year's Eve and paying New Year's visits are inseparable. The choices made by these respondents also reflect, to a certain extent, the trend that more and more young people in today's society are reluctant to pay New Year's visits. 37.5% of the respondents would go door-to-door to pay New Year calls, which indicates that only a minority of people like to pay New Year calls or are willing to do so. This phenomenon is unfavorable to the inheritance of the tradition of celebrating the Chinese New Year and the creation of a New Year's atmosphere.

6. What is your evening rest during the Spring Festival vacation? [Single-choice question]

Analysis: During the Spring Festival holiday, 37.5% of people will go to bed regularly and on time as usual. More than 60% will go to bed later than usual during the Chinese New Year holiday, especially a small percentage will go to bed 3 hours or even more later than usual, which shows that the festive atmosphere is indeed very strong, and people will have a richer night life during the Chinese New Year than usual. However, this also reflects that some respondents will have a greater chance of deteriorating their health.

7. What was your diet during the Chinese New Year holiday this year? [Single-choice question]

Analysis: 45.83% of the respondents will go out to wine banquets or dine at relatives' and friends' homes during the Spring Festival holiday, which indicates that young people communicate with the outside world more frequently during the New Year's period, and this is exactly the manifestation of the New Year's Day, when a kind of atmosphere of mutual exchanges among friends and relatives comes into being. More than 40% of them dine at home, which indicates that family dinners are also still relatively common on New Year's Eve.

8. After the New Year, do you think you are? [Single-choice question]

Analysis: More than half of the respondents believed that they must have gained weight after New Year's Eve, which, in addition to indicating that more than half of the respondents were clothed and fed during the Chinese New Year period, also shows that these people had an optimistic and positive attitude towards the year they had spent, and that their conscious conception of the idea of New Year's Eve as a time when one would gain weight indicates that they had spent it in a way that was comfortable and satisfying to them. On the other hand, 37.5% of the people thought that their weight did not change much after New Year's Eve, which does not necessarily mean that they had a New Year's Eve that did not satisfy them, but to a certain extent, it shows that they failed to satisfy their stomachs, at least in terms of what they ate. This phenomenon shows that the contemporary New Year's Eve is usually given to people (especially young people) for a comfortable and restful experience. To a certain extent, it shows that people recognize both the spiritual and material enjoyment that the New Year brings to them.

9. What makes you happiest at Chinese New Year? (Multiple choices allowed) [Multiple Choice]

Analysis: From the line graph, we can find that option A has the highest selection rate of 87.5%, option C is chosen by more than 60% of the respondents, and the number of respondents choosing option E is also more than half. This shows that the New Year's Eve, people pursue not only the material gained satisfaction, more is the pursuit of spiritual pleasure. In particular, family reunion has become the pursuit of almost all respondents. Family reunion is the basic component of New Year's Eve given by people since ancient times, and it can be said that a New Year's Eve without family reunion cannot be called a New Year's Eve in the true sense of the word. It can be said that people's expectations for New Year's Eve are the same as those of the ancients. Although there are many other things that people like about New Year's Eve, respondents still value family reunion more than anything else, and more than 60% of respondents chose option B, which shows that people's lives are becoming more and more stressful in modern times.

10. What is your overall feeling after the New Year? [Single-choice question]

Analysis: 39.58% of the respondents' overall feeling after New Year's Eve is very happy and joyful, while 47.92% of the respondents think that New Year's Eve is very plain, which indicates that the contemporary way of celebrating New Year's Eve is always the same, year after year, and it lacks something that can attract the young people who like to try something new, or the contemporary way of celebrating New Year's Eve is no longer in the New Year's Eve atmosphere, which makes nearly half of the young people do not feel the New Year's atmosphere.

11. Among the many traditional festivals in China, which do you personally think is the most important one? [Single-choice question]

Analysis: In the opinion of nearly 90% of the respondents, the Spring Festival is the most important of China's many traditional festivals. It shows that the vast majority of respondents regard the Spring Festival as very important, which has a very positive effect on the preservation of our traditional culture, especially the traditional custom of celebrating the New Year.

12. How do you think we Chinese should treat the tradition of celebrating the New Year? (Multiple Choice) [Multiple Choice]

Analysis: 93.75% of the respondents believe that we should treat the New Year as a very important part of our traditional culture and continue it as the essence of traditional culture. This shows that the tradition of celebrating the New Year has not been forgotten by the increasingly open-minded young people of China, and that people still value it. And 62.5% of respondents chose C. This shows that family reunion has always been the basic condition of Chinese New Year in people's eyes, and also reflects people's longing for a family reunion, suggesting that there are fewer and fewer opportunities for family reunions in today's society. Half of the respondents think that New Year should be given new connotations, which indicates that in the eyes of many young people, the traditional way of celebrating New Year or the process of celebrating New Year is no longer attractive enough. Nearly 30% chose E, indicating that New Year's Eve can have its own arrangements in the eyes of some contemporary young people, and they don't need to celebrate New Year's Eve in the same way as the traditional way, and these people have become more or less bored with the traditional way of celebrating New Year's Eve.

Sixth, the survey summary

Through this activity, for the questionnaire sub-summary and suggestions are as follows:

1. In today's Chinese society, the New Year, a traditional Chinese custom is still valued by most young people. But not everyone likes the New Year.

2. In today's society, some Chinese young people are no longer satisfied with the traditional way of celebrating New Year. Therefore, the issue of how to inherit and promote the traditional Chinese way of celebrating the New Year and to develop and innovate the way of celebrating the New Year based on it should be emphasized by the society.

3. From the fourth question, it can be seen that the concept of going home for New Year's Eve is stronger nowadays among the post-80s and post-90s, which is in line with the Chinese tradition.

4. From, for example, the 10th question respondents' feedback on the feelings after New Year's Eve and other questions, it is easy to see that: the atmosphere of New Year's Eve is not strong enough in the society nowadays. This is more or less related to factors such as the increasing pressure of people's existence in modern society and the increasingly fast pace of life and work. We should perhaps think seriously, we are in the pursuit of material life at the same time whether to take care of our hearts to the pursuit of the spirit.

5. The phenomenon of young people staying at home is becoming more and more common in today's society. Even during the Chinese New Year, some young people still choose to stay at home and are not active in participating in social activities.

6. Nowadays, young people are more eager to communicate with the outside world, therefore, the New Year as a platform to communicate with friends and relatives has been fully utilized by many young people. During the New Year, many young people will choose to go around to pay their respects or go out to party.

7. Generally speaking, as one of the most important parts of traditional Chinese culture, the inheritance of Chinese New Year has not been interrupted in contemporary China, and most young people attach more importance to it, but the increasingly westernized lifestyle and the invasion of Western culture have made the inheritance of Chinese New Year a less than optimistic prospect.
