What is the famous glass craft in Italy during the Renaissance?
In Roman times, lavender, dark blue, emerald and yellow ochre were the basic colors, and various glasses such as milky white, yellow and reddish were mixed. This method is the same as the glass processing technology called "hot-melt mosaic", which is a technology of cutting all kinds of glass into mosaic pieces, heating them together in a kiln and then welding them together. It is the representative of Italian Renaissance glass craft. In the early stage, it was hand-painted on the molded vessel and then fired again. Later, it was gradually replaced by transparent glass, with delicate texture, beautiful shape and rich colors. Later, mosaic glass, ice glass and Venetian glass appeared.
