What does Jewish circumcision mean?
Circumcision is a popular traditional religious ceremony among Jews, which is called "Covenant" or "Covenant of circumcision" in Hebrew. Han Mu is the executor of circumcision. If the baby boy is not sick or has other health problems, Mohan will circumcise the baby boy on the eighth day after birth. In the process of circumcision, Mohan will make a speech to announce that the baby boy has implemented the law, and then the parents of the baby boy will make a speech to show that their son has been included in the contract between God and the Jews and officially name the baby boy.
According to Genesis chapter 17, section 9- 14, God commanded Abram to circumcise himself, his male descendants and his servants as an eternal covenant. According to the oral law of medieval Judaism, people who do not observe circumcision will be regarded as intentional criminals and will be punished for being isolated from God. For Jews, it is of sacred and special significance for a baby boy to be circumcised on the eighth day after birth.
Jewish religious belief
Today, the religious belief of Jews is mainly Judaism, but a few people have converted to other religions, such as Christianity, and many Jews are atheists, but they will still keep their Jewish traditions. Most of these Jews live in countries other than Israel (all Christians are not recognized as Jews in Israel).
Judaism worships the only God, Yahweh (called Yahweh by Christianity), which is the national religion within the Hebrews. Judaism believes that the Talmud Sutra is a classic after the Bible, and Judaism has derived the two largest religions in the world-Christianity and Islam.
There are very few people who believe in Judaism all over the world, only among Jews, and there are not so many people who believe in Sikhism and Shinto, but Judaism is inevitably mentioned in every book about religion, mainly because of its great influence.
