After this, he covered the lid, took out an iron bar, inserted it into a flushing hole on the lid, and quickly tightened the lid. With another gentle push, the oval barrel will skillfully slide into the iron frame. Then, one hand lifts the handle (the handle that blows the fire) to make the coal fire flourish, and the other hand grabs the handle of the bucket and shakes both sides together. Grandpa shook and stared at the pressure gauge on the bucket. Watching, grandpa slowed down when he shook the handle. I know it is time to adjust the temperature. This is the most critical step. If the fire is too big, the rice will burn and even explode because the air pressure is too high. If it is too light, the rice will not fully expand and the taste will not be too good.

As time went by, grandpa's face was full of confidence, but he was careful, for fear that the rice would not taste good if he accidentally shook it down. It's about to explode, and the timid girls are covering their ears and running away. Although we brave boys were a little scared, we still got up the courage to cover our ears and approached the bucket step by step, while adults stood in the distance covering their ears. As for the old man, he inserted an iron bar into the hole in the lid, took a big sack, put it on the lid, and crouched down like a gunner ready to fire. The nickname "gunman" also got its name. There was a loud bang. The old man stepped on the sack with his foot, and at the same time, the iron bar in his hand was twisted, which was another loud bang. "oh! What delicious popcorn. " We exclaimed. Because everyone will give others some popcorn, everyone has a bag full of delicious popcorn when they leave.

Because the popcorn just brought back is loose, it can be made into various shapes. Popcorn can be made into square rice balls, popcorn balls ... various patterns. I like popcorn balls best, because my mother is very skilled. First, I boil sugar in oil. If you don't like oil, you can add honey if you like sweet. Boil it into a paste and add popcorn. Just knead it into various shapes by hand. The popcorn balls made by my mother are big, sweet and delicious. Every time she sees my friend and I holding big popcorn balls in our hands, but we can't eat them, she laughs.
