Does engraving need to be filed?

No matter whether a citizen or an organization needs a seal, it must be filed first, and it is not allowed to engrave the official seal without authorization, otherwise it will be illegal. Carving usually requires the following information:

1, an application with seal is required in duplicate, and the application needs to be signed by the legal person;

2. Original and photocopy of the legal representative's ID card;

3. Original and photocopy of business license. If it is entrusted to others, the trustee also needs to bring the original and photocopy of the ID card and the power of attorney;

4. Seal registration card;

5. If the seal is replaced, the old seal should be taken away for recycling.

Article 7 of the Measures for the Administration of Public Security of Seals stipulates that if organs and organizations at all levels of state power, party and government organs, judicial organs, organs participating in and discussing state affairs, the armed forces, armed police, democratic parties, trade unions, the Communist Youth League, women's federations and so on need to engrave seals, the seal management department of the issuing organ shall issue an official letter and go through the formalities for examination and approval of engraving at the public security organs of local people's governments at or above the county level.

Article 8 Where an enterprise, institution, non-governmental organization, neighborhood committee, deliberation and coordination institution or non-permanent institution registered by the civil affairs department needs to engrave its seal, it shall apply to the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level for quasi-engraving formalities with the engraving certificate issued by the competent department at a higher level, the approval text of the establishment of the unit and the legal person ID card. If there is no superior competent department, it shall apply to the local public security organ at or above the county level for quasi-engraving procedures with the business license, registration certificate and legal person ID card issued by the registration management department. The person in charge of the quasi-engraving procedure must hold the entrustment certificate of the engraving unit and my ID card; If you go through the formalities of quasi-engraving the name stamp, you should also provide the identity card specified by the name stamp.
