A Case Study of Kindergarten Safety Education Activities

Early childhood safety education is valued more and more with each passing day, early childhood safety incidents occur suddenly, and the age characteristics of young children make them insufficiently judgmental about dangerous events, which requires the state, kindergartens, teachers, and parents to educate them. Therefore, this paper studies the safety education activities of S kindergarten, focusing on analyzing the safety education activities of the middle class.

The exploration process is based on four methods: observation, interview, textual analysis, and case study, collecting and recording lesson plans and weekly plans and other documents of safety education activities in the middle class of Kindergarten S in order to obtain first-line information and organize the information, analyzing the safety education activities in the middle class of Kindergarten S in a targeted way, and interviewing teachers of the middle class to learn about the most convincing cases. This paper seeks to describe in detail the safety education activities of the middle class of Kindergarten S, and to consider the problems that exist.

Based on the findings of this paper, we can see that the effectiveness of the safety education activities in the middle class of Kindergarten S: simulation drills, beneficial to children's self-protection; gentle attitude, beneficial to children's acceptance; contact bar, multimedia network, beneficial to cooperation between home and abroad; intuitive education, beneficial to children's mastery.

Problems of the safety education activities in the middle class of Kindergarten S include: the lack of teachers of children's risky behaviors in a timely manner and reasonable. The problems of safety education activities in kindergarten include: teachers' lack of timely and reasonable stopping and education of children's dangerous behaviors; insufficient time for safety education activities; a single way of safety education activities; a low proportion of the content of safety education activities; unsatisfactory effect of safety education activities; and neglecting safety education activities in the creation of the environment. The causes are: kindergarten administrators; kindergarten teachers; safety education activities resources.

The thinking on the safety education activities of the middle class of S kindergarten are: effective management of the administrators to establish a harmonious kindergarten; teachers to strengthen the study and set up a sense of responsibility; to enrich the resources of the safety education activities of S kindergarten; to create a natural environment for the safety education activities; and the state should increase the investment and strengthen the supervision.
