2. Qujing
In Qujing area, there are hardworking and brave Buyi people. Before New Year's Eve, every household smoked bacon, filled sausages, roasted wine, made glutinous rice Baba, popcorn, sewed new clothes and made handkerchiefs. Before New Year's Eve, fruits such as maltose will be sent to Kitchen God. Please write a pair and post a door god and a New Year picture. On New Year's Eve, the whole family, old and young, sat around the fire, first offering sacrifices to the world of their ancestors, and then the whole family blessed each other, had a reunion dinner and stayed up all night.
3. Kunming
During the Anti-Japanese War, the Yunnan provincial government issued an order, and the door gods were changed to Yue Fei and Qi Jiguang to express the determination of the Yunnan people to fight against foreign invaders. This "official will" won the unanimous support of the people, and the government also printed a large number of pictures of the door gods for distribution. For a time, the images of these two national heroes hung majestically on every door in old Kunming. Kunming has also retained this custom so far.
4. Yuxi
The 24th of the twelfth lunar month is said to be the day when Master Zao Jun went to heaven. Every household in Yuxi scrubbed the stove clean that night, loaded it with a small bowl of grain and chopped straw, lit an oil lamp, and sent the stove to heaven with incense lamps. In order to prevent the chef from reporting his dirty clothes to the Jade Emperor for punishment, people in his hometown often use white sugar made of barley malt as a tribute to seal the chef's mouth and make him speechless.
5. Dali Prefecture
Bai people's Chinese New Year activities are very interesting. Starting from the twelfth lunar month, every household should buy new year's goods, such as killing pigs, grinding bean curd, bait pieces and glutinous rice flour. On New Year's Eve, the host of each family will bring dishes, tea and wine trays to worship along the eight roads such as heaven and earth, gates, wells, kitchen gods and ancestral tablets, and then the whole family will have a reunion dinner.
During the festival, the Bai people have traditional entertainment programs, such as playing dragon lanterns, dancing lions and singing and dancing with each other. During the Spring Festival, the Bai people will also carry out a traditional activity-"promoting height". Take a big bamboo, put gunpowder in the cracks, and after lighting it, you can shoot the whole bamboo into the sky as far as 100 meters. 6. Pu 'er
In Pu 'er, on New Year's Eve, every household should make glutinous rice cakes symbolizing the sun, the moon and the stars, offering sacrifices to them, hoping that the new year will be good and the crops will be plentiful. On New Year's Day, young men and women rushed to the spring to meet the new water symbolizing purity and happiness, and they got it first. At the same time, bring gifts to visit relatives and friends. Eating crispy rice during the Spring Festival is also one of the customs of Pu 'er. Crispy rice crust is a unique snack in Pu 'er area. On the eve of the Spring Festival, there will be small things made into flowers, birds, insects, fish, birds and animals in Pu 'er area. It is not a toy, but an exquisite folk handicraft. On New Year's Eve, every household will fry it in the oil pan and eat it, which is crisp and sweet. Of course, purple rice, sour bamboo shoots and fish are also very popular during the Spring Festival.
