What does PBX mean?
PBX (private branch exchange) is simply a group telephone. It is widely used in corporate offices and greatly improves the efficiency of corporate offices.
However, there are many problems with traditional PBX. The first is that it does not support the emerging CTI (Computer and Telephone Integration) and VoIP. Moreover, traditional PBX uses proprietary technology, lacks openness and standards, and is expensive.
In recent years, with the popularity of the Internet and the success of IP, IP PBX based on IP protocol has emerged, which is expected to solve the shortcomings of traditional PBX.
