Holland's six professional interests can be divided into six categories, namely, reality (R), research (I), society (S), tradition (C), enterprise (E) and art (A), and the professional environment can also be divided into six categories with the same name.

1, the first is realism. People with this interest like regular specific jobs and jobs that require specific skills. Such people often lack social skills, and such occupations include mechanics, electricians, farmers, forestry workers, farmers and so on.

2. The second type is research type. People with this interest like intellectuality, abstraction, reasoning and independent work, and they will be attracted by those occupations (thinking, organization, understanding, etc.) with more cognitive activities. ). This personality often lacks leadership skills, such as biologists, chemists and university professors.

3. The third type is social. People who have this interest will be attracted by those occupations that involve a lot of interpersonal communication, rather than those that involve a lot of intellectual or physical activities, such as psychological counselors, diplomats, social workers and so on.

4. The fourth type is traditional. People with this interest will be attracted to engage in a systematic and organized career, with good control ability and quite conservative, and generally follow the routine. Examples of such occupations are: office clerk, accountant, bank clerk, etc.

5. The fifth type is enterprise type. People with this interest are extroverted, like adventure activities and leadership roles, and like to engage in a career involving a large number of language activities aimed at influencing others.
