Folk Culture of Grandma Temple in Houshan

Grandma Houshan's belief is very popular in this area. Including Beijing area, such as Fangshan District, the south Shangle area is called Xishan, Zhuozhou City and Laishui County adjacent to Fangshan are also called Xishan, Dingxing area is called Grandma Beishan, and Yixian County is called Houshan. They are all called differently according to their own orientation. Some believers in Fangshan area have to rush to the west to burn incense on New Year's Eve, and their mouths are muttering to themselves, to the effect that grandma Xishan should bless them. Every year, there is a temple fair from the first day to the fifteenth day of the third lunar month, during which people are crowded. There is no need for tickets for this mountain. Believers come from several provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions and it is very lively. The clergy who come to this mountain are Taoists, Taoists and monks. There are many Buddhist and Taoist gods on the mountain, full of folk beliefs. Zhuozhou also has a grandmother temple in Xishan, called Taining Palace, which is managed by the Taoist Association of Hebei Province. According to some believers in Beijing, there are also grandma temples in Dingxing, as well as local people watching incense. I don't know the details.
