Festivals of the Hui people 400 word citation essay writing

In Hui, every one of us is a Muslim. We practice the religion of Islam. Each of us Muslims has a scriptural name of our own from birth, and my scriptural name is Mehani.

We Muslims are very particular about our diet. Muslims abstain from eating the meat of pigs, dogs, donkeys, mules, and raptors and birds of prey, from eating the meat of animals that have not been killed or committed suicide, and from eating the blood of all animals. These taboos, which originated in Islam, have evolved into the living customs of the Muslims. Therefore, non-Muslims must not bring the above taboos into Muslim homes or restaurants or talk about these foods on various occasions.

Muslims who have taken a bath and are ready to go to worship in a Muslim temple must not let out any audible or inaudible fart, as according to the Hadith, audible or inaudible farts invalidate the ablution, and therefore the Muslims will be forced to take a new ablution in accordance with the classical Islamic texts.

No one should trample on grain, salt and all kinds of food in a Muslim's home, or else he will be rewarded either by becoming a beggar later on, or by being blind and living in darkness forever. One must not spit towards salted salt and fire, and one must not step on or across the place where water is poured.

Besides we Hui people have these taboos, there are some other ethnic minorities as well. When you are in a Kazakh or Mongolian home, don't bring a horse whip; into a Manchu home, don't bring a dog skin hat or a coat made of dog skin ......

Every ethnic group has different folk customs and habits, and I think we Muslims have unique customs!
