What is the development prospect of traditional Wushu?

Today's society is an economic society, and everything is linked to economic interests. As far as the development of traditional Wushu is concerned, I personally think there are several reasons:

1, many people don't know traditional martial arts. At present, more than 90% of the Wushu practitioners in China practice routines, which are called "tokenistic gestures". Too few people really know martial arts. No one has ever seen real martial arts, let alone developed it.

2. Traditional Wushu is not suitable for commercial operation. Traditional Wushu cannot compete in the ring like Sanda. It's not because traditional martial arts can't play. However, the training methods and purposes of traditional Wushu are essentially different from competitive Wushu.

3. Inaction of the State General Administration of Wushu. Li Xiankang, the author's tutor, repeatedly went to the Wushu Management Center to advocate the development of Wushu, but he was declined. One of my Mianquan friends has also visited the Wushu Management Center many times, hoping that the official can do something practical in the development of Wushu. The result is the same.

At present, many things of traditional martial arts have been lost. Few people in China really understand and acquire the essence of traditional Wushu systematically. But I firmly believe that the precious wealth left by our ancestors will not be lost. Many learners of traditional Wushu work hard, at least we can ensure that the essence of Wushu passed down to our generation will not be lost! Traditional Wushu will be handed down from generation to generation.
