The seventh middle school is in Shapingba District, Chongqing.

Chongqing No.7 Senior Middle School is located in Shapingba District, Chongqing, the first batch of key middle schools in Chongqing, the first batch of municipal and national demonstration high schools in Chongqing, and the new curriculum experimental sample school of ordinary high schools in Chongqing.

The school was founded in 1758 (the 23rd year of Qingganlong). In the 23rd year of Qing Qianlong (A.D. 1758), it was named Dongchuan Academy, and in the 29th year of Guangxu (A.D. 1900), it was abandoned as Xingxuetang, and Dongchuan Academy was renamed as Chongqing Affiliated Middle School.

Later, it was renamed as Chongqing Union County Middle School, Chongqing * * * High School, Chongqing United High School and Chongqing High School in Sichuan Province. Chongqing No.7 Middle School has changed its name nine times and its address four times, which makes it today.

As of 20021year1October 22nd, the headquarters of Chongqing No.7 Middle School covers an area of 72,068 square meters, with a building area of 77,980 square meters. There are 394 teaching and administrative staff (4 senior teachers, senior teachers 1 19), 102 classes (50 high schools).
