What is the traditional Chinese dating method called
The Stem and Branch Chronology, also known as the Lunar Calendar Chronology is the traditional method of dating in China. It originated in the Xia Dynasty, also known as the Summer Calendar, and is known as the Lunar Calendar because of its guiding role in farming. It is the ten heavenly stems (A B C D E H G S N D) and twelve earthly branches (Zi ugly Yin Mao Chen Si Wu Wei Shen You Xu Hai) in order to match the chronology, week after week. The order of the stem and branch matching exactly sixty for a week, week after week, the cycle of records, which is commonly known as the "stem and branch table".
