At present, the Institute of Traffic Management Science of the Ministry of Public Security has applied for registration of brand-new car number plates and temporary driving number plates in the State Patent Office. The new number plate adopts a completely different design from the number plate currently used, in which the background color is mainly two different colors, and the visual impact effect is better.

The first one adopts the gradient style of white and light blue, but if you look closely, it is a combination gradient. The leftmost "XX" character will still be the area code (such as Guangdong A). It should be noted that there are blue, red and Huang San circular icons in the number plate, and the letters F, G and Y are printed on the icons respectively, but the specific information to be expressed is unknown.

On the right side of the icon is a 6-character "number+letter" combination, which is one more character than the traditional blue small fuel number plate, just like the current new energy number plate.

The background color of the second small number plate is white and dark blue, and the design of characters and circular icons is different from the first one. The circular icon is located above the second character. It still has blue, red and yellow colors. The six words on the right are arranged in 3+3.
