Where are the main rice plants in China?

Rice cultivation is widely distributed in China, from south to north and from east to west. Except Qinghai Province, where there is basically no rice cultivation, other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government have rice cultivation. In terms of planting areas, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River are the main rice producing areas, accounting for 52.9% of the country, followed by South China, Southwest China, Northeast China, Northwest China and North China, accounting for 18. 1%, 15. 1% and12 of the country respectively. The yield per unit area of rice in the northeast, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the northwest region is relatively high, with an average yield of more than 470 kilograms per mu. Followed by Southwest China and North China, the yield in South China is low, mainly due to the high proportion of double cropping rice in this area.
