With the rapid development of life science and biotechnology research, the research on fermentation technology and its related application fields is becoming more and more active. Fermentation technology is an important professional core course for biotechnology and application majors and micro-biotechnology majors in higher vocational colleges. The production technology of alcohol, amino acids, antibiotics, microbial enzyme preparation and biochemical treatment technology of sewage are emphatically introduced. The content of each part is relatively independent, and teachers can choose to teach according to the professional direction and characteristics of each school.

This book is edited by Xie Meiying (Beijing Electronic Technology Vocational College) and Biezhixin (Yangling Vocational and Technical College). This book is divided into ten chapters. The first chapter was written by Xie Meiying, the second chapter was written by (Beijing Electronic Technology Vocational College), the third and fourth chapters were written by Xu Anshu (Chongqing Industry and Trade Vocational and Technical College), the fifth chapter was written by (Guangxi Vocational and Technical College), the sixth chapter was written by Biexin, the seventh and eighth chapters were written by (Luohe Vocational and Technical College), and the ninth chapter was written by Huang Beibei (Sanmenxia).
This book is suitable for students majoring in biotechnology, microbiology, biopharmaceutical technology, food and agriculture and forestry in higher vocational colleges as teaching materials, and can also be used as a reference for middle and junior technicians and teachers in related majors.
