The working principles, advantages and disadvantages of needle printer, laser printer and inkjet printer are briefly described.

Needle printer: consumables are ribbons and printing needles, which are mainly used for express delivery with invoices and documents.

Inkjet printer: Consumables are ink. Advantages: Good color reproduction effect and cheap machine. Generally, an inkjet printer is used to print photos. Disadvantages are expensive consumables, slow printing speed and high failure rate.

Laser printer: Consumables are powder and drum, which is fast and has less failure rate. But the machine is more expensive.
