Xie, born in 1956, is a master of folk art, skilled in chrome painting techniques, vigorous and powerful in works, and unique in style, especially in chrome painting on Xuan paper. His "Five Tigers" was collected by the Xi Big Wild Goose Pagoda Museum, and his rice paper chrome painting "Dayu" was issued as a stamp.

Xie is now a member of China Folk Chrome Painting Art Research Association, Anhui Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, and an art consultant of Bengbu Tianyi Xiu Cultural Industry. His chrome paintings on different materials such as rice paper, leather, pure wool blanket, silk, silk and cloth were made into feature films and broadcast on CCTV 7, Anhui TV and Bengbu TV.

? In early winter, the author specially came to Xie's studio of Anhui Fengyuan Group Co., Ltd. to visit the master of chrome painting.

? When talking about chrome painting, Teacher Xie said: Chrome painting has a history of more than 1000 years in China. Chrome painting was called "fire needle embroidery", "fire brush painting" and "hot stamping painting" in ancient times, which was a very precious and rare painting in China. This painting originated in the Eastern Han Dynasty and flourished in the Western Han Dynasty. It is a folk art, using red-hot ferrochrome as a pen and coating chromium on wood and bark. Due to years of war, chrome painting skills have been lost. It was not until the third year of Guangxu that it was rediscovered by a folk artist named Zhaoxing. After rolling, several major factions represented by Henan and Hebei have gradually formed. Previously, chrome painting was limited to painting on wooden materials, such as boards, barks and gourds. Uneven texture changes naturally appear on the screen, which has a certain relief effect, and the color is dark, light brown or even black. Chrome painting is an artistic painting made of chrome on fan bones, combs, wooden furniture and paper silk with a special iron pen. It was not until modern times that materials such as rice paper and silk were boldly used, which enriched the artistic form of chromium painting. At present, chrome painting has been listed as intangible cultural heritage.

Xie liked painting when he was in school, and entered the school art troupe when he was in middle school, laying a solid sketch foundation. After 73 years of work, he joined the staff painting and calligraphy class and studied under Teacher Xie. He studied hard, studied diligently, and constantly improved his creative level. When he graduated, his Chinese painting won the first prize in the painting and calligraphy exhibition held by the school.

? In which era, when classmates and friends got married, they all bought wood to make furniture. For the beauty of furniture, they always invite Xie to decorate it. Xie is very enthusiastic. He put the chrome painting on the plywood and embedded it in the furniture door.

Xie's research on chrome paintings on rice paper is a coincidence. 1994 In May, Wang Guoxi's calligraphy exhibition was held in Wuhe County, and calligrapher Wang invited him to go with him. At that time, the exhibition was all promoted by high-pitched radio. During the exhibition, the radio suddenly broke down, and the county invited an electrician to repair it. Because the thread was dropped, the electrician used ferrochrome to weld the thread, and Xie happened to be there. The electrician casually put the ferrochrome on the shelf, and the ferrochrome slipped and became hot.

After returning home, Xie began to experiment with painting on rice paper with chromium. Chromite is painted on rice paper, and it is either burned or ignited. Repeated failures did not make him give up. He thought of fumigating rice paper with chemical raw materials, but it didn't work. So he thought of using Chinese herbal medicine to treat rice paper. For more than a year, Xie has chosen different Chinese herbal medicines. After hundreds of fumigation tests, he finally found a method to treat rice paper, and the effect was very ideal. In the process of painting, in order to use hook, twist, rub, dye, dot, painting and other means to burn the painting content of different themes on different materials, he made a fuss about ferrochrome. He specially asked the silversmith to make flat and curved silver heads and put them on ferrochrome for creation. All kinds of objects and lines in his works are dense and dense. Thereby producing rhythmic and elastic artistic effects. "It's airtight, so you can race horses." It not only shows the national style of China traditional painting, but also has the rigorous realistic effect of western painting. In the artistic creation and practice of chrome painting for more than 30 years, it has formed a unique artistic style.

? Thank you? I'm 62 years old and I'm still writing. Relying on the mother river in his hometown, he carefully conceived and painted the Great Huaihe River with a 50-meter scroll in the form of focal ink painting, which reproduced the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Huaihe River.
