Therefore, if you want to keep a local dog as a pet, you must be mentally prepared.

3. Some parts of China have the habit of eating dog meat. In the past, local dogs were often called "vegetable dogs" or "meat dogs". It can be seen that China people's attitude towards local dogs is not very friendly, which is quite different from that of the West. In the west, pet dogs are used to accompany human beings. Such a dog has a very high status and can go in and out of various places at will, which is unimaginable in China.

People have the idea that things are scarce, and they also have the tradition of worshipping foreign things and obsessing foreign things, so they are more willing to keep a dog of foreign origin. Some dogs are strange, like elves, just satisfying people's curiosity and thirst for knowledge.

So people either take the path and buy some toy dogs such as Teddy, Deer Dog, VIP and Schnauzer. Some people prefer German Shepherd, Shepherd, Satsuma and other large dogs. And the local dog is so modest and not very outstanding, so naturally it is not very popular.
