How many military regions are there in China?
Shenyang military area command: Leading and commanding the armed forces in Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang and the eastern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Beijing Military Region: To lead and direct the armed forces in Hebei Province, Shanxi Province, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Beijing and Tianjin.
Lanzhou Military Region: Leading and commanding the armed forces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Xinjiang and Ali, Tibet.
Jinan military area command: Leading and commanding the armed forces of Shandong and Henan provinces.
Nanjing Military Region: Leading and commanding the armed forces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian and Jiangxi provinces and Shanghai.
Guangzhou Military Region: Leading and commanding the armed forces of Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan provinces (regions).
Chengdu Military Region: To lead and direct the armed forces of Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Tibet and Chongqing.
