What are the advantages of a landline phone?

The biggest advantage of a landline phone is that it has low radiation, good call quality, and doesn't need to be recharged, plus if you're installing ADSL broadband you have to have a landline phone bundled with it. That said, there are advantages and disadvantages, it is not as flexible as a cell phone, anytime, anywhere you can talk, send text messages. Oh, each has its own advantages.
