Besides the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, there is also the legend of the White Snake. In fact, what we are most familiar with is this folklore, the legend of the new white snake, which is based on this folklore in Hong Kong. But in fact, this TV series has a lot of beautification. The true legend of the white snake is far less affectionate than that in TV series, but it also expresses people's yearning for free love.

There are also two folklores: The Water Margin and Zhu Yingtai and Meng Jiangnu Cry for the Great Wall. Butterfly lovers's tragic love story was made into a TV series and a movie, and he wrote a violin solo "butterfly lovers" based on this love story. People lament the unfortunate experience of the wicked mandarin ducks, and even accuse the evil feudal old society. I saw the folk story Meng Jiangnv Crying at the Great Wall when I was a child, but I never understood it at that time. When I fully understood the meaning of the story, the wind and frost of life had infected my heart.

In fact, there are many sad folk stories like this. I remember reading the "Folklore" subscribed by the teacher in primary school, which is full of folk stories circulated by various ethnic groups. It's really beautiful.
