Synopsis: The ballet Li Bai is a new ballet that tells the story of China. With his feelings of home and country and his wanton feelings of embracing mountains and rivers, he explored Li Bai's mental journey and shaped Li Bai on the stage. The dance drama also discusses the scenery and dance music of the Tang Dynasty, which has typical China cultural charm and aesthetic feeling.

The play selects several major nodes in Li Bai's life, and reveals Li Bai's inner world through his balance and choice in the contradiction between "joining the WTO" and "being born". After the Anshi Rebellion, Li Bai resolutely joined the army in his later years, but he was sent to Yelang because of the defeat of his master. This reminds him of his entry into WTO. In the palace, Li Bai was in high spirits, but it was difficult to win the trust of the emperor because of the jealousy and slander of ministers. All kinds of harsh reality made him wake up from the dream of "willing to be complementary" and resigned from imperial academy. Entering the landscape, Li Bai's romantic feelings have been greatly released. Relying on Dapeng's wings, he pinned his ideals in the distance. The dance drama shows Li Bai's enthusiasm, talent and lofty sentiments, and focuses on Li Bai's psychological struggle between feelings of home and country and feelings of mountains and rivers. Dance drama is divided into five units: preface, one act, two acts, three acts and ending.

Li Bai in the symphony version

As a masterpiece of historical figures' dance drama, the symphonic version of the dance drama "Li Bai" successfully combines historical facts with dance art, and at the same time, with the live performance of the symphony orchestra and the performance of China traditional instrumental music, the audience can dream back to the prosperous Tang Dynasty in the mutual echo of poetry, dance and music, and set up a bridge between Chinese civilization and modern civilization for 5,000 years.
