Zeng Zi was a student of Confucius. I don't want my son to grow up to be a man of his word, so I'll set an example for my son today." So Zeng Zi killed the pig. His son grew up to be an honest and trustworthy man.

Respect for the elderly and love for the young

Zi Lu, a native of Lu at the end of the Spring and Autumn period. Among the disciples of Confucius, he was known for his political affairs. Especially known for his bravery. But when Zi Lu was young, his family was very poor, and he lived on coarse food and wild vegetables for many years.
