What are the three categories of literary works classified by contemporary genre research?
Contemporary genre research divides literary works into three categories: lyric, narrative and drama. Literary works refer to works that reflect life vividly and express the author's understanding and feelings about life and society by thinking about life, society, nature and humanity in the form of words, thus arousing people's aesthetic feeling and giving people artistic enjoyment. Literary works are different from ordinary special works such as science, technology, scholarship and history.
