What is sambo wrestling?
Sangbo wrestling is divided into youth and adult groups according to age, and then divided into ten levels according to weight, ranging from 48 kg to more than 100 kg. The competition is held on a circular field with a diameter of nine meters. The game lasts for 6 to 8 minutes without stopping.
Athletes wear short wrestling suits, tight vests and trousers, leather shoes, and cloth belts. Wrestling methods such as stumbling and tripping are allowed during the competition.
