Tips for performing Shakespeare's plays

If we are referring to the original text, then Shakespeare's lines are mainly in five-step iambic pentameter verse, and they describe things in a peculiarly Shakespearean style of rhetoric.

The so-called five-step iambic pentameter verse is characterized by the following:

1. Each line of verse has ten syllables.

2. Each of the ten syllables is divided into five steps.

3. Each step has two syllables, with the accent falling on the second syllable.

4. Vegetative poetry is without end rhymes.
