Zhaiying Village is located in Zhaiying Town, at the southeast foot of Fanjing National Nature Reserve. Zhai Ying Ancient Town, a national key cultural relic protection unit, was founded in Hongwu period of Ming Dynasty, the hometown of rolling dragon art in China. In history, it once enjoyed the reputation of "Little Nanjing" at the foot of Fan Jingshan Mountain, and has rich historical, cultural and tourism resources.

Zhai Ying has a mild climate, abundant rainfall, fertile land, rich products and good production and living conditions. The main food crops are rice, corn and sweet potato. The cash crops are rape and vegetables. The village covers an area of 4.55 square kilometers, governs 7 villagers' groups, and has 328 mu of cultivated land, including 328 agricultural population and non-agricultural registered permanent residence population 1000. The main ethnic groups are Han and Tujia, as well as Miao, Dong and Gelao. The specialties are rice tofu, braised duck, bacon and Ciba. Unique, Wanshou Palace, Fushou Palace, slate natural paintings, picturesque landscape features and unique "dragon rolling art" attract guests from all directions.

Zhaiying Village is adjacent to Juxian Village, Lijiazhuang Village, XinNomura Village, Heichong Village, Wang Jiaping Village, Baoli Village, Dashui Village, Luojiazhai Village, Zhaizhuan Village, Kaipai Village, Shangzhai Village, Qingupo Village, Dengbao Village and Wujiazhai Village.
