Introduction of Jinwei Gaba Cuisine
Jinwei Guoba cuisine (commonly known as Gaba cuisine) is a unique local traditional snack in Tianjin, which evolved from Shandong pancakes. Shandong people who made a living in Tianjin in their early years often cut mung bean pancakes (called Gaba in Tianjin) into thin strips, mixed with prepared marinade and sold them with small ingredients. They were very popular and gradually spread throughout Tianjin.
