Wanan county's introduction

Wanan county is located in the south-central part of Jiangxi Province, at the southern edge of Ji 'an City and at the eastern foot of Luo Xiao Mountains. It is an important part of Jinggangshan revolutionary base area. Xingguo County in the east, Ganxian County and Nankang District in the south, suichuan county in the west and Taihe County in the north. The county covers an area of 205 1 km2, and governs 9 towns, 7 townships, 1 farm, 135 administrative villages, 8 neighborhood committees and 1950 villagers' groups with a total population of 306,000 (20 12). Wanan county has a long history, including the ancient city wall of wanan county, Chongwen Pagoda (a provincial-level protected cultural relic) and Don Juan Lion Rock, which was built in the Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty. During the second domestic revolutionary movement, there were many revolutionary sites in the memorial hall. Wan 'an is the hometown of Kang Keqing, a proletarian revolutionary of the older generation, and has trained seven founding generals, including Wang Huiqiu, former air force political commissar, Kuang Yumin, former artillery commander and Zhong Hanhua, former armored force political commissar.
