Is space security a traditional security?

Not traditional security, space security is non-traditional security. Space security is an objective state in which space system, space rights and interests, space orbit environment and so on are not threatened or violated. For a country, maintaining space security means ensuring that space assets, space rights and interests and orbit environment within the scope of national security are not threatened or infringed by natural environment and human activities.

Non-traditional security includes economic security, cultural security, social security, scientific and technological security, network security, ecological security, resource security, nuclear security, overseas interests security and space security, deep sea security, polar security, biological security and other new security fields.

Space security is an all-round, multi-level and rich non-traditional security, which is mainly manifested in sunken three-dimensional security with outer space security as the core, adjacent space security and air space security.
