What is Dacromet treatment process?

Dacromet treatment process: metal zinc flake-based while adding aluminum flake, chromic acid, deionized water as a solvent for the highly dispersible water-soluble coatings, coatings dipped in the metal substrate, after the full closed-circuit coating and baking, the formation of thin coatings, Dacromet coatings successfully resist the erosion of chlorine ions, anticorrosive technology to a new level, revolutionizing the traditional process of anti-corrosion short life defects.

Extended information:

Advantages

1. High heat resistance: Dacromet can resist high temperature corrosion, heat-resistant temperature up to 300 ℃ or more. While the traditional galvanizing process, the temperature reaches 100 ℃ when the skin has been scrapped.

2. Super corrosion resistance: the thickness of the Dacromet film layer is only 4-8μm, but its anti-corrosion effect is more than 7-10 times that of the traditional electro-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing or paint coating method. The standard parts and pipe fittings treated with Dacromet process did not show red rust after salt spray test for more than 1200h.

3. Good permeability: due to the electrostatic shielding effect, the workpiece of the deep holes, slits, pipe fittings, such as the inner wall of the zinc is difficult to electroplating, so the workpiece of the above parts can not be protected by electroplating method. Dacromet can enter these parts of the workpiece to form a Dacromet coating.

4. No hydrogen embrittlement: the treatment process of Dacromet determines that there is no hydrogen embrittlement in Dacromet, so Dacromet is very suitable for the coating of stressed parts.

5. Good bonding and re-coating performance: Dacromet coating has good bonding with the metal substrate and strong adhesion with other additional coatings, the treated parts are easy to spray coloring, and the bonding with organic coatings even exceeds the phosphating film.
