Who put forward the 5P teaching method?

The 5P teaching method was formulated by Hanban.

For a long time, the traditional teaching method of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in China is that teachers speak and students listen. Now, in order to improve the quality of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, Hanban has formulated a set of training model for teachers of Chinese as a foreign language in line with the international advanced language teaching concept, so as to change the traditional teaching model of Chinese as a foreign language.

The new teaching mode of Chinese as a foreign language is called 5P mode, and 5P stands for five teaching links, namely, content teaching, teacher's intensive teaching, case analysis, simulation exercise and achievement display.

These five links are to stimulate foreigners' interest and curiosity in Chinese learning through drama sketches, screen display, real cases and curriculum design. To overcome the psychological barrier that foreigners think Chinese is difficult to learn, and at the same time let foreigners better understand China culture in the process of learning Chinese.

Status:

"5P teaching method" and "task-based teaching method" are also branches of communicative language teaching method, or means to implement communicative language teaching method. The "5P teaching method" emphasizes the teaching mode of structure-function-communication, which increases the input and output of the language and greatly improves the practice frequency of the target language in the classroom.

The repetition rate of language in the whole teaching activity is relatively high, and it is relatively easy for students to master it. All students' learning activities and learning process are expected by teachers, and the teaching effect is naturally improved.
