1.Falcon HTV-2 supersonic vehicle
This type of aircraft is well-known for its flight speed of 20 times the speed of sound (6805m/s). It can fly from Paris to Dakar, the capital of Senegal, in 13 minutes. Unfortunately, on its maiden voyage in 2010, the U.S. military lost control of the aircraft nine minutes into the flight and forcibly guided the aircraft into the Pacific Ocean. Only two aircraft of this type were produced.
2.X-43A hypersonic aircraft
