Zharu Temple has four grand temple fairs every year, the biggest of which is the Ma Zi Hui on the 15th day of the fifth lunar month. It is said that "Asako" is a god in Benbo religion, who is responsible for exorcism. This temple fair is to commemorate him. Asako Festival is the most important religious festival in Zharu Temple and the biggest festival in Jiuzhaigou. Three days before the meeting, the monks of the whole temple gathered in the temple to fast and recite scriptures. On the day of the festival, Tibetans around Jiuzhaigou came to participate. They gave Hada to each other and watched Tibetan opera performances. Young men and women regard this day as the best time to express their love. They vowed to love each other for life in the pine forest near Yuxi.
